We built this because we needed it too.
Honestly, we were just tired of things feeling cold and transactional. So we made something different.
How it all started.
A few years ago, a small group of us sat around a kitchen table and asked ourselves a simple question: why does so much of modern life feel like it was designed for someone else? The apps, the services, the products — all technically functional, but none of them felt warm. None of them felt like they actually knew us.
So we started building something different. Not a startup with a pitch deck and a hockey-stick growth chart, but a small, intentional thing made by real people for real people. We wanted it to feel like getting a recommendation from a friend who genuinely cares — not an algorithm trying to optimize your attention.
We're still that small team. We still sit around that kitchen table (metaphorically, at least). And we still care more about whether you actually feel good using this than whether our metrics look impressive.
